The part machined case with the front bezel cut to allow the case to be centered when reversed to machine the inside
The case parts This is a Minerva chronograph case made in 316L grade surgical Stainless Steel. The picture shows the case assembled with no class ready to do the final finishing I made this case using only a picture taken from Ebay that was sent by the customer. It is machined from a solid billet of metal. Most of the final shape has been arrived at by hand using Diamond tools and very fine Emery paper
| Now the shape of the case can begin to emerge from the solid blank. This is done by hand
Here is a Platinum engagment ring i made recently. The two main Diamonds are two carats each and there are three hundred small Diamonds set around the shank and claws. The stones where beautifully set by Steve Copas in Hatton garden. his and hers twenty two carat gold rings. The Tanzenite stones were supplied by the customer. They are an unusual cut being faceted on the back and smooth polished on the front. |
