Here checking with previously made location marks the positions for the pendent and spring catch.

After soldering they are filed true.

This Georgian silver case had a very bad lead repair around the pendant.

I cut out evenly around the hole to get to a decent thickness of metal.

As the pink enamel was too fragile to repair, we decided to make a new gold ring which was let into the case.
